When we opened Idlewild, our goal was to create the perfect contemporary pub; we ended up with a whole new category – The Pub Deluxe. We aimed to use all our years experience of running cocktail bars and combine them with amazing décor and great quality English Food.

It worked and Idlewild has become a firm favorite with the locals of Maida Vale, as well as being voted The Best Premium Pub in the UK by industry bible Class Magazine.

It stands out because of its ability to offer so many different things, with a bar restaurant on the ground floor, a lovely walled courtyard garden and a stunning apartment style cocktail bar on the first floor.

The Restaurant
Downstairs an air of sophistication and sense of establishment is given with the use of hand crafted chandeliers (think Hotel Costes) and a 26ft long solid pewter bar as well as numerous other design flourishes.

There is a dedicated space for dining, where we can cater for groups of most sizes and also a stylish lounge area if you want to visit and choose a drink from our extensive list.

The Courtyard
A courtyard garden sits snugly behind on a lower floor and is a perfect hideaway on hot summer days.
